Team DMTC Sponsors
Helping
Hands From Great Companies
Team DMTC is always seeking sponsors for it's current and future projects. As with most public school systems, we have lots of enthusiasm but limited funding. Due the high cost of quality car audio equipment, the team must rely on the generosity of the leading manufacturers to supply us with the "power" we need.
Pictured
on the left is the 2006-2007 DMTC Mobile Electronics
"Student-of-the-Year" Shawn Finley. Shawn is holding the donation from
the great folks at Xstatic! These two Batcap 800s really help out
supplying the power in our SPL project. So far, eight leaders in car audio are on-board with Team DMTC. The fine folks at Monster Cable, Xstatic, Kicker, Scosche, Boston Acoustics, Tsunami/Metra, Optima and Alpine have been extremely generous and supportive of our efforts. These sponsors, and the rest of the virtual world, will be able to keep up with the progress on all of our projects through this website.

Our friends at Monster Cable were so generous,
it took the whole class to hold it all!

In addition to our national
sponsors, we have received great support
from our local shops also. The Service Managers from both our local
Best Buy and Circuit City have given presentations at our school. In
addition, our special friends at Elite Audio
right here in Spartanburg have been very supportive of our efforts.
Pictured
on the right is two of last year's "Advanced" Mobile Electronics Class
at DMTC Josh Heckel & Brandon Dry. They are holding the first
set
of four Kicker amps and subs that really rattle Team DMTCs Lexus RX300.We constantly try to get our generous friends the publicity they deserve. In addition to this website, we advertise for our friends in our lab and on our vehicles. We also try to get them some additional coverage in national publications in both print and online.

generous donation from the great folks at Boston Acoustics.

Support
has come to us in many forms so far. We have received direct donations,
big discounts, partial sponsorships, technical help and just plain old
encouragement. All of these, and any other forms of help, are obviously
welcome.

Along with their very generous donation to our program,
the great folks at Tsunami sent us this banner for our lab.
We
are so excited and thankful for the support we have received so far;
but as with all new programs, we are looking to do even greater things
in the future! Anyone
interested in helping us out on future
projects, please don't hesitate to contact
us.
Once
again our list of corporate friends gets longer! We needed a main
battery for our current SPL project and the great folks at Optima were there to help. Our
"Yellowtop" battery not only looks good, but will supply plenty of
reserve power when we need it.
Thanks to our equipment donations from our sponsors, and a lot of hard work from the students, Team DMTC has had some impressive results so far. With continued support from are old friends, and maybe some help from new friends, we hope to continue to impress our peers and get lots of recognition for our sponsors.
Please
join us in welcoming our newest sponsor Alpine Electronics. The great
folks at Alpine are already on board for next year's big Mustang SQL
project. Their head unit and signal processor will be the heart of our
new system. Thanks Alpine! Most of all, please support our sponsors. They have proven through their generosity that they care about the education and future of our children. Great companies like these have made the car audio industry what is is today!
We
are glad to welcome another new partner for this year's Team DMTC
Mustang SQL project car! Memphis Car Audio will be supplying us with
one of their brand new five channel amps along with the door speakers
and subs to match. Thanks to Memphis, all that is left now is a lot of
hard work! Please click on the Memphis logo shown to the right to learn more about their exciting new line-up, including their new "Hybrid" amplifiers.
Many
thanks to our friends at Scosche for donating some much needed
reference material for our lab.
