Our current project is our largest undertaking to date. We are entering into the ear-splitting world of Sound Pressure! The vehicle we are working on for this is DMTCs 2000 Lexus RX300. This one will really be a show stopper when we complete the system we have started.



The final system, which we are currently working on, will have four Kicker ZX750.1 amps each driving a Solo-Baric L5-15 All of this will be mounted in a custom built "ported" enclosure. This setup, along with Boston's GT-40 4 channel amp for the door speakers, will put our total system power at almost 4000 watts!


Our electrical system will need all the help it can get to push this kind of power. We will back it up with an Optima "Yellowtop" battery, two Xstaic "Batcaps" and four Tsunami "stiffening" capacitors. All of these modification provide excellent opportunities to reinforce electrical principles learned in class.
